Delete your Vivahswapn account

In the Vivahswapn app

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Open the “Me” tab, then “Settings”.
3. Tap “Delete account permanently”.
4. Confirm that you understand the date your account will be deleted, then tap “Delete my account”.

On the website

1. Sign in on this website.
2. Open “Settings”.
3. Click “Delete account permanently”, confirm that you understand the date your account will be deleted, then click “Delete my account”.

If you can’t sign in

Write to support@vivahswapn.com from the email address registered on your account, or call +91 99206 43919 and tell us the mobile number registered on it, and ask us to delete the account. We check that the request is yours before we act on it.

What happens next

• Your profiles leave search and matches at once, and you are signed out on every device.
• You have 30 days to change your mind. Signing in during that time cancels the deletion, and nothing is lost.
• After 30 days your account is erased for good: your profiles, photos, verification documents, horoscope files, messages and their attachments, call recordings, interests, shortlists, your family members’ access, support tickets and the devices registered for notifications.

What we keep

Payment, invoice and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires. If you earned referral payouts, the tax details and KYC documents behind them are kept too. Content attached to a report about another member may be kept until that report is closed.

Even without deleting your account, messages are deleted automatically 60 days after they are sent, and call recordings 30 days after the call.

Delete some of your data, and keep your account

You can remove these yourself at any time, without deleting your account:

• Photos: in the app, “Me” → “Photos”; on the website, “My profile”. Tap “Remove” on the photo.
• Profile details: in the app, “Me” → “My profile”; on the website, “My profile”. Edit a section to change or remove what it says. Our team reviews the change before it shows.
• One profile: in “Settings”, “Delete this profile” deletes the profile you are using. Your account and any other profiles stay, and the profile is erased after 30 days.
• A family member’s access to your profile: in the app, “Me” → “Family members”; on the website, “Family”. Choose them, then “Remove access”.
• Messages and call recordings cannot be deleted one at a time. They are deleted automatically, messages after 60 days and recordings after 30.
• To delete anything else, such as your referral payout details, email support@vivahswapn.com or call +91 99206 43919 and tell us what to delete. We check that the request is yours first.

Want a break instead?

In Settings, “Deactivate account” hides your profiles from search and matches without deleting anything. Your plan keeps running, and “Reactivate account” brings your profiles back.
