Child safety standards
Vivahswapn · विवाहस्वप्न · Published by BitMask LLP
Vivahswapn is a matrimony service for adults, and for the families who help them find a match. We do not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. These standards apply to everything on the Vivahswapn app and website.
Adults only
Every profile is for a person who has reached the legal age of marriage in India: 21 for men and 18 for women. A profile below that age cannot be sent for review, and our team reviews every profile before it appears in search.
Zero tolerance
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), any content that sexualises a minor, grooming, and any attempt to contact, solicit or exploit a child are prohibited. This covers profiles, photos, messages, chat attachments and calls.
What we do
- We remove the content and stop the profile from being shown to anyone.
- We permanently ban the accounts involved.
- We report child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and to the police, as the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 requires, and we preserve the evidence they need.
- We cooperate with requests from law enforcement about child safety.
How to report
- In the app or on the website, open the profile, message, call or photo and choose “Report”. Pick the reason that fits best and tell us what you saw.
- Or email support@vivahswapn.com or call +91 99206 43919 at any time. Tell us what you saw and the name on the profile.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call 112 (emergency) or 1098 (Childline) first.
Child safety contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety is support@vivahswapn.com, or +91 99206 43919 by phone. Members and authorities can write or call about these standards and how we enforce them.
